One of the BRENTT Consumer Trends to watch for 2012 was of course Olympic Fever. We don’t have a good history of brands taking advantage of this wonderful sporting event in Nigeria. Elsewhere, the Olympics is HUGE. It’s good to see this Coca-Cola display inside SPAR grocery store in Lekki. It’s quite creative and catches the eye immediately. Coca-cola of course is world-reknowned for the ingenuity in their store displays and once can certainly see why.
It would be great to see other Olympic sponsors – Samsung anyone? – take advantage of the Olympic spirit we are all going to be bound to in just a few weeks.
